Overview

Located in the heart of Madrid on Gran Vía, Vinitus Gran Via Restaurant offers a vibrant and authentic Spanish dining experience that blends tradition with subtle modern touches. This Spanish gem is a must-visit for anyone seeking genuine tapas in a lively yet inviting atmosphere. The restaurant strikes a fine balance—energetic without being overwhelming—making it ideal for locals and tourists alike looking to immerse themselves in the city’s rich culinary culture.

The menu is a thoughtfully curated journey through classic and inventive Spanish flavors. Signature dishes such as Arroz Con Bogavante y Alcachofas showcase the harmony of fresh seafood and seasonal vegetables, while the Huevos Cabreados bring a punch of bold, layered flavors reflecting true tapas artistry. Appetizers like the Eggplant Chips with a Bit of Honey deliver a crispy, sweet contrast that perfectly precedes heartier dishes. The Raw Bar 2 and Patatas Bravas also stand out as staples, balancing freshness and tradition effortlessly.

Desserts deserve special mention, notably the famed Torrija Quemada de Sta Teresa and the creamy Tarta de Queso Cremosa. These sweets offer a perfect end to the meal—comforting, refined, and unmistakably Spanish. Pairing them with a refreshing Tinto de Verano or a classic Brownie Con Helado de Vainilla creates a memorable finish that few other venues capture so well.

Vinitus Gran Via’s dining space complements its cuisine, with an ambiance that hums with life but remains welcoming. The layout encourages socializing without overpowering conversation, fitting for groups, couples, or solo diners eager to engage with the energy around them. The location on Gran Vía places it at a cultural intersection, appealing to a diverse audience from locals to travelers seeking authenticity wrapped in a polished presentation.

Service often receives praise for its warmth and efficiency, a crucial element given the restaurant’s popularity and brisk pace. Staff handle busy moments with patience and professionalism, navigating challenges without losing the personal touch. This was especially noted by patrons who experienced sensitive situations gracefully managed by attentive receptionists, enhancing the overall sense of care.

While occasional missteps with orders occur—as can happen in bustling environments—these moments are outweighed by consistent quality and a welcoming spirit. The dynamic menu changes regularly, inviting repeat visits and discovery, rewarding guests who enjoy exploring various dishes across multiple visits.

In essence, Vinitus Gran Via Restaurant thrives as both a tribute to Spanish culinary heritage and a lively social hub. Its fusion of traditional tapas with innovative elements, prime city-center location, and attentive service combine to create an experience that feels both authentic and refined. Whether you’re seeking a quick tapa, a leisurely meal, or a taste of Madrid’s vibrant food scene, Vinitus offers a compelling destination that is well worth your time.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant today. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. I wanted to leave a special thank-you to the two reception girls who handled the waiting list today. There were three ladies didn’t understand the waiting list and they thought I cut in the line. I was single and I felt very confused. Both of the receptionists stayed calm and explained the waiting process clearly. They managed this stressful situation with patience, which made me feel safe. Please pass on my thanks to both of the receptionists. Their work today truly made a difference, and I hope the tension didn’t affect their mood. I’ll definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Great place to try traditional and fusion tapas! We went back to this place twice and each time we tried different things. I liked that they had a list of best sellers/suggestions on the table, so we didn’t bother too much with browsing the menu and ordered accordingly. The atmosphere is lively but not overwhelming, and the staff is quick with their service.

This restaurant came with high recommendations from a friend and lived up to its expectations. It offers an authentic tapas experience in a luxurious way. We had aubergine crisps with honey, crispy Camembert, a green salad, grilled mushrooms and asparagus and the Cabreadas on the vegetarian side. My family enjoyed some of their non-veg tapas thoroughly. For dessert I recommend that the Burnt Saint Teresa ‘Tirojjo’ is a must. Their bread with chocolate, oil and salt was also very delicious. Great ambiance. The service is very quick and efficient. Highly recommended. A must visit if you are in Spain. ????????

The staff here was very accommodating even though we arrived a bit late. The drinks were excellent, but there was a slip-up with the food: we waited about 20 minutes for our foie gras order only to be told it was unavailable. I wish they had communicated that sooner, but overall, the great service makes me definitely want to come back

We loved trying different dishes in smaller “tapa-style” portions and even went there two nights in a row. Some dishes were absolutely amazing, while others were a bit less memorable. They also offer daily menu that change regularly, which keeps things interesting. One thing to keep in mind: if you order several dishes at once (we had ordered 4-7 dishes multiple times), you’ll need to keep track yourself, as a few of ours were forgotten in the rush. The place is super busy, which adds to the lively atmosphere but also explains the occasional mix-up.

Barcelona was our introduction to this group of restaurants. We were lucky enough to find that they had one in Madrid as well. Because they do not take reservations you have to be prepared to wait in line. But it is well worth it. We started with drinks as everyone does in Spain. We then ordered, croquetas, the cod with a honey sauce, pedrinos (small grilled peppers), and the torta (a potato, ham and egg tart). These were all our favorites. We were so happy. The food is delicious. Will we go back? Absolutely. I wish there were more restaurants from this group in other parts of Spain.

If anyone asks me this is one of the best restaurants among those visited during my trip to Madrid. (They have Vinitus in Barcellona and we loved it too!) Honey cod, Padron Pepper, Gambas, and the dessert was so good! Prices are not as attractive as before but still definitely a must try place if you come to Madrid or Barcellona! They will never disappoint you.

One of the best restaurants that I ever eat. Especially during my holidays, I don’t eat in the same restaurant twice coz I would love to try different things. But two days having dinner with my friend, we enjoyed our food, wine, the service, such a great vibe here. Particularly with Zohar, that she is the best! 120% recommended
